What a wonderful narrative. It’s as if you were there, covering the circus, and also these two young performers who became a couple. Married at 15! So young and also worldly (at least in terms of travel).

Thanks, Neil. It’s a little more challenging project to research but I think it comes together pretty well over the four parts 😉

What fun, and yes, I love this closing update and the idea of an online chat… perhaps one per series? Be careful that it not draw from comments. I’m not sure exactly how to do that but I’m confident you’ll find the path. 🥰

Yeah I'm not sure exactly how to do it either, but I do like the idea, and I like YOUR idea of having one after each series as sort of a wrap up - thanks!

What I don't want is another roundup post, which would be easy to fall into and which others are doing much better than I would haha. It's a WIP and I'll fumble my way for awhile, which is another great thing about Substack!

Yeah, I get it. I’m always amazed at your skill at building a monthlong queue of work. Masterful. I’m rushing to get posts ready more than a day in advance.

You're doing great, and you are keeping A LOT more balls in the air than I am!
